Will Most Haunted last much Longer?
I wonder if Most haunted will last much longer I am amazed it has lasted this long to be honest.
I like the idea of Most Haunted but I do not like the lack of professionalism by some of the team. Maybe you warm to seeing the likes of Kath, Karl and Stu on camera and that’s fine if it works for you but for me putting off camera staff on camera does not work and it comes through when you watch Most Haunted. At first Most Haunted was novel and to some degree interesting but now I want more from Most Haunted I want people who are experts in the field not make up and cameramen on camera. I long for the day when Most Haunted capture a ghost on camera but I am not sure with the basic equipment they use this will ever happen. Maybe my problem is Most Haunted has been running too long and it is time to hang up their hats. |

so correct me if im wrong...(lol)...but...you dont like the crew members...you dont like the way the programme is constructed...you feel that its has run its course and no matter how many people on this forum show their support for the show you continually post threads designed to make others think the way you do...
i for one will be dissapointed when most haunted does run its course on tv and fully feel that it will continue beyond its current medium. (how i dont know, but im sure there will be a continuation) im sorry if you think im being argumentative..im not...im just trying to sort of point out that in most cases on this forum your preaching to the wrong people... i think your a great fella pagan man and you clearly think all these things through...its just...well sometimes...i just think...in the name of the great plattypuss in the sky...watch the program and smile...:):) may the bird of paradise fly up your nose.

There are only three team members I do not think should be on camera and that is Kath, Karl and Stu do I like them or not is of little importance. However I do feel Yvette does a good job fronting Most Haunted all she needs is other professionals along side of her to make Most Haunted more popular I am a professional person and I believe that one should always have the best person for the job hence my issues with Kath, Karl and Stu. I like Lesley but she is not a real historian check out her background in this area and you will see she does not have a GCSE in History let alone a degree. She received an Honorary Master's Degree because she increased the number of visitors to Tutbury castle significantly. Chris Conway has no verifiable records as a Medium of any kind, other than with the show. He is most likely an actor who needed a job, and looked good on camera. So taking this into account is there little wonder I have issues with the team Most Haunted could be so much more. I will be as always honest and I do enjoy being the devil’s advocate. |

I hope it continues for a while yet, but do think they have to be a bit careful as other paranormal shows appear and do things, lets just say, differently. It could well be the novelty of being 'the new kid on the block' but some of the newer ones do seem to have attracted a fan base already, and probably some of those fans were once MH fans.
I'm going to liken it to Ice Cream. Vanilla was great when it was the only flavour available, then Strawberry arrived. You will still get those that prefer Vanilla, but the novelty and newness of Strawberry attracted and became more popular. Perhaps MH could try becoming a bit more Chocolate Ripple than straight Vanilla? That is so bad, but hope you get what I mean! When the light begins to change, I sometimes feel a little strange, a little anxious when its dark. |

So taking this into account is there little wonder I have issues with the team Most Haunted could be so much more. yes it could..and should...but not at the expense of the fabric of the show...expand not replace...IMO. Pagan Man, i need to post a few points regarding your views on the crew.
I agree with you about Stuart and Cath. Karl is one of the owners of MH, he has a big say on the show and he is obviously going to be on camera. I think we all need to just get used to that. As for your points about Chris Conway and Lesley. Lesley does not sound like the sort of person to me who hasn't studied history and have a background in that field. She must have one because i fail to see how she got to where she has if she didn't. Your point about Chris conway is flawed because Chris could of just been an unknown medium. Met the crew or Karl or yvette and was told to go on the show. He obviously impressed yvette and Karl and they obviously love working with him. You can see that when he was on the unexplained debate show, the living with yvette and karl show and MH. They obviously work well together. A few of your points don't make much sense and frankly, aren't that valid in all honesty. |
