Afternoon all,

Last night i was having a conversation with a good friend on msn. I wont retell her story as it was deeply personal and took a lot of guts for her to tell me.

But thats not the point of this thread, its about things that happened to me while we were talking. Halfway through her telling me I started to feel upset (i asked her if she was crying and she said yes), i then had a image come to mind - i described it to her and it turned out to be the person she was talking about (ive never met her friend or seen a pic of her), a bit later, i described another image i had and this turned out to be her friends brother (again, ive never met or seen a pic of him). Anyhow.......after the story ended etc, i started to pick up feelings of happiness and these turned out to be exactly what my friend was feeling! The weird thing about it all, this doesnt just happen when im talking to people, it happens when i go into haunted locations! I pick up sounds and feelings/thoughts for unknown reasons..........

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Please, i need to know if im going nuts or not lol

That sounds like you may be lucky enough to be more sensitive than most people Believer 2009, and your not alone in this one. I too have that gift, but not as much as my wee ma, who has now passed on. She was very sensitive to peoples feelings and places that had certain atmospheres, so your not going nuts......your a lucky person, and a good person.

Thanks a lot for that story nicky and im so sorry to hear about your baby *hugs*. The weird thing is, it gets me when im vunerable, like when i first wake up on a morning and my defences are low.....i get a sudden rush of happiness or a sudden rush of sadness and its usually got nothing to do with whats happening in my surroundings (i.e. ive got no reason to be happy or sad!).

Thanks for your help as well richie :), im starting to feel better about this now (believe me, trying to hide something like this for 3 years is not easy lol)

sounds like you might be sensitive. Maybe you should think of classes in that rather than parapsycholgy?

Tbh Blackannis, i didnt know you could take classes in it. Ive always been drawn to "the other side".......i remember once leaving work, walking down the road and then smelling a strong smell of beer, (it was a wednesday night, i wasnt near any pubs, and nobody in family drinks during the week), i got home to find that they had organised a suprise party for me!

yeh go for it hon, Blackannis is right, whats the point in having such a strong 'gift' and not using/training it.

perhaps the reason your feeling so much latley is that 'something' is trying to push you in a certain career direction.

just a thought tho...:)

Good thought hun and i have been looking into attending some psychic development workshops. Just sooo expensive :(.

It is a good thing to have, its just damn annoying.....especially on buses lol
