Alright we had a thread like this in october but it got out of hand and had to be closed, there were some good ideas last time so please don't let this go off topic. Remember that some of the team members read the forum and let's hope they take some of the ideas onboard.

What do you want to see improved for the next live, do you have any ideas for experiments etc.
Note: Less adverts and scrapping interactive won't won't happen as they help pay for the show we love to watch.

i think holding seances with members of the public and just one member of the team, but cameras showing under the table, feet, a birdseye view of the table etc so there cant be any 'its feet tapping on the floor' etc

more gadgets.. more use of thermal imaging, EMF (more than 1 so that if a reading is gained it can be verified with a second meter), those lil recorder thingys to try and catch EVP's. Maybe they should do some reasearch on new devices in the field and give them a try similar to what GA are doing with the device that looks at different parts of the light spectrum. At least then they may be able to gather some findings that aren't so open to criticism.
A seperate show that soley concentrates on analyzing what has been caught the previous night (i don't mean in the post-mortom format which covers lots of things).
Less people in the investigation and also if possible a run down of exactly who is in the location both on & off camera.

more science needs to be used for definately! but after the episode of the gadget show where they make a haunted house i dont trust anything that measures magnetic readings

• An initial, recorded, sweep of the location in daylight so that objects such as keys &c. can be verified as being in situ or not during the investigation;
• More time spent on the investigation & less time at the Hub;
• Fewer Team Members;
• The Team should be moving towards a phenomenon and not running away from it;
• Fewer 'Shushes' and other utterances;
• Woollen clothing, not Gortex™, as this will cut down on that annoying rustle of their coats;
• Cheek Mics, as these will pick up on the Team's involuntary sharp intakes of breath or deep breathing and discount them as being paranormal;
• More cameras, preferably which can penetrate the dark;
• One or two cameras should be fixed underneath the séance table;
• Ultra-sensitive microphones to be placed around each room;
• More gadgetry;
• A rescheduling of the Post Mortem programme so that it starts and ends a day after the start and end of the Live, thereby covering the phenomena caught during every night of the Live.

Nutty - spot on as usual. If only they read that and pay attention would be great.
I would also love the show to start later and finish later say 10pm til 1 am over fewer nights.
How many of the normal episodes were there when the most activity happened after midnight?????
possible use of extra infra red lights in the rooms they intend to investigate?

one thing though i do disagree with is less time in the hub, i would suggest better use of hub time as opposed to getting rid of it. I understand we don't need to see you relocate and setting up in new rooms. However we don't need Mr Ross's usual list of comments - having read these threads anyone watching for the first time would know exactly what he will say. They ain't the shortest of short breaks, they are the same length lol!!!

I love the inital sweep idea, maybe this could include the crew too, what do they have in their pockets. I'm not saying they set things up, but this would help eliviate that claim???

• Pre show warm up - introduce the location and show the sweep done prior to going live on air
• Similar to the series a lit walk around with the psychic or even better a guest psychic also shown in the warm up show
• Cut down the main crew to a max of 5 my suggestion Yvette, Chris Conway, Ciaran and Matt (sound), Chris (Camera)
• Allow the other crew members to all investigate other areas but all on live cameras so we can watch them at all times
• More input from Ciaran with lock offs and stuff especially under the table of the seance's possibly a mic based there too to prevent sound
  Rubber matting for the teams feet whilst sitting in on the seance.
  Also more monitoring of the other rooms and corridors so we know there is no crew in the areas where their shouldn't be.
• Post mortem show with all the interactive rubbish if they need to and also give time for Ciaran to give us his findings from the previous night and Historians.
• Use the local knowledge for the locations contact local historians and people who know the location to give their input.
• With the amount of money they must rake in surely they could get more help send Phil whyment out with a small crew say Stu, Kath and Phil with maybe simon and a 2nd team using Karl, and 2 more crew/riggers and possibly a guest psychic but keep the focus on the main investigation only showing us what the others find if they do find anything
• If they do use smaller groups perhaps send 1 audience member out with each crew to credit their findings as they will be impartial
  

I live in hope but must say last week gave me hope they are heading in the right direction xx
