RE: Kath Gets on your Nerves
I'm a very new viewer of 'Most Haunted' - in fact only beginning with this series. Yvette is top notch...a really great presenter who asks intelligent questions, even looks for logical 'mundane' answers.
However, Kath I just find to be hugely annoying. She adds nothing to the enjoyment of the programme and is, in fact a massive detriment to almost anything that is going on.
On a 'serious' paranormal investigation, the last thing you need is an overimaginative, silly little girl who screams at every shadow and even when reporting she 'saw' or 'felt' something is the least convincing actress I've ever witnessed. Strange that in every episode I've seen, Kath seems to attract the ghosts like flames attract moths. Unfortunately, people like this can (and do) bring incredulity and scorn to programmes like this, and make people more sceptical than ever about the truth of ghosts, hauntings and the paranormal landscape generally.

RE: Kath Gets on your Nerves
Can i just remind you all to remember that Cath is a real person with feelings, and if she came on here and read this thread it could be upsetting to see her referred to as "a silly little girl". I doubt you lot would like it if the roles were reversed. Shes been on the show since the second series, and if she wants to scream and get scared let her. Shes a human after all with emotions not a robot.

RE: Kath Gets on your Nerves
I like Cath, shes a lovely lady and it must be hard for her to not get worked up if you are that way inclined! I think I would be screaming as well and I love these kind of things. I think if she can get over the fear and just think that nothing has happened before why should it now then she will be fine.

The screaming does my head in a bit but we should put ourselves in her place. :)

I agree that we should not be personal, but I do agree with comments that Cath is very annoying and doesn't seem to add anything of value. Could she not stay in the hub and monitor the screens instead?Icon_shout
