Dont scry it, but maybe put some rose quartz or amethyst on top of it for protection. :) make sure they have been in moonlight, buried in soil or under cold running water first so they are charged.

There is one other crystal thats really effective but i cant think of it right now. I'm sure one of the others will suggest it. Oooo! rather than put the rose quartz on top of the mirror, put a charged piece in the four corners of the room.
